Hey there, if you know you can improve your school performance but just need some tools that I, already fully educated and wholly trained to teach, can offer to you, then please contact me now! I finished the USM's Master of Science, Workforce Training & Development program, University of New Orleans post-grad studies, and the Herzing University Master of Business program. Twelve years as a Wyzant tutor have passed, and I can thank countless pupils, their families, and professionals for a high success rate. More years are coming with that experience plus always more worksheets, audio visual ELA games, and academic programs geared to engage pupils. Our feelings, ones that exist in our subconscious minds, are well-tied to our learning blocks. I strengthen the foundational skills that schools require students to have. My own school completions were achieved among other pupils in New Orleans, LA, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Hattiesburg, MS and online. My working knowledge of literacy skills, test preparation, and math has been, and continues to be, built via my priority-----helping others to put together their skills so that they are ready for their futures.

Please don't hesitate to book your first "good-fit" lesson so that we can face your challenges now and ahead. Working through your load alongside you professionally is what I do readily!

Study Skills

Study Skills

A tutor certified in study skills can extract and compile vital information for students. The web presents loads of overwhelming information about the subjects in school and also study skills. Students may not be able to cover everything. My intention as a study skills tutor is to focus for the student until the student can. I know how to format and reformat information, find the key issues, and demonstrate mnemonic approaches that students can use when preparing their classwork. I know that smart study habits can decrease the anxiety of students. I have done that for myself before and am willing to help others do it. I have helped countless students while teaching to pay attention to the fine points of collecting and organizing information. Studying can be fun once students take note to studying as an art. WyzAnt presents me with students that need to increase their study skills. Due to my workforce training and development, as well as business degrees that I have and the teaching in K-12 that I do, I know how to study and guide you to study. My sources of studying approaches are from the web, my own educators, years of experience as an educator, and my personal library collection. I am a degreed, practical knowledge scientist. As a student striving for a degree, I had to meet the course criteria, was expected to submit assignments in a timely fashion, and finish extensive research before constructing presentations and papers. Gradually, I began to study more proficiently and feel better in the time it took to get a desirable result. I learned that I would have to organize what I studied so that from year to year I could locate what I had researched and logged and use it again. Your students will learn from me how to efficiently package your academic efforts.
