I have received academic awards and valuable experience from internships with ExxonMobil and Volunteer Houston as well as conducted biological research at my university. In 2019-2021 I and a group of collogues supported a startup charter school in Houston Texas. I managed marketing, analytical data for student performance and enrollment, as well as instructed online and in-person classes for 40+ students. I instructed and tutored in ELA, math, and science for 1st-3rd grade and was awarded Teacher of The Year in my first year! I have had 5 years of experience managing three science/health/fitness exhibits and a biological lab at two local children museums in Houston. I also have had years of experience as a vision therapist helping patients with a variety of vision and learning disabilities. I love education and science and hope to bring this passion to every learning interaction I have with students. I am excited for the potential to work with you!

I have participated in a scholars research program at NASA Johnson Space Center. I worked with engineers to prepare scientific goals for a future simulated rover mission to Mars. I have working experience in the STEM department at the Children Museum of Houston where I developed, prototype, and installed science experiments in a science lab based on nutrition, physiology, and genetics. I developed over ten experiments ranging from food nutrition to immune response. I have experience in research techniques and practices in an academic, informational, and clinical based setting.

Please contact me for more information and scheduled lessons. I'm excited to help and support along your educational journey! I am able and willing to help you along your way to becoming a scientist and active learner!
