A little bit about me. I grew up in Veracruz, Mexico until I was five years old. My family moved to Kansas and enrolled me in Kindergarten two weeks later. I was fortunate to have a teacher that was patient and creative as she thought me the English language. Growing up in a bilingual household made me appreciate language and culture. Alma was very helpful in getting me ready to go off to a Spanish speaking country for a year. She was so encouraging and thought of great topics to talk about.
