I am pursuing this tutoring position to gain some experience in my dream of becoming a professor someday. The teaching gene seems hereditary as both my mother and grandmother instructed students at the primary and secondary education levels. Further, I feel well-qualified to give guidance regarding Political Science because of my honors major in it from the 2010 United States Naval Academy class. Indeed, I ranked 28th overall academically out of 1050 fellow midshipmen. While at Annapolis, as well, I often tutored my peers in Political Science. So, with this initial tutoring experience, I only hope to continue my love of this topic through graduate school and perhaps a doctorate degree.
