My name is Zubin M. and I am a final year medical student in the six year medical program at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine with a focus on neurology. I have passed USMLE Step 1 and scored above my goal on Step 2. I received my undergraduate degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City in the Bachelor of Liberal Arts.
My previous teaching experience has centered on mentoring fellow medical students. As a senior partner, I taught junior medical students clinical and preclinical medicine, and I have also led neurology and neuroscience workshops for first-year students. I like to teach using a collaborative and interactive approach, using questions to help student develop their clinical reasoning and build a deeper understanding for the material rather than simply memorizing the facts.
While my teaching has largely been voluntary, I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve their goals. Whether you are preparing for medical school coursework, board exams, or neuroscience classes, I look forward to helping you succeed.
