My name is Roger C., and I am an experienced tutor for high school and college students, specializing in English language, writing, and literacy skills. I have extensive experience tutoring and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. I have worked with at-risk youth at Creighton Preparatory High School in Omaha, providing individualized support to strengthen writing, comprehension, study skills, planning, and time management. I have also tutored teens at the Boys and Girls Club and worked with children and teens in grade school and high school at Boys Town National Research Hospital’s Residential Treatment Center, offering one-on-one academic support alongside behavioral interventions. These experiences have taught me how to adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, ensuring that concepts are clear, engaging, and memorable.
In addition to my tutoring experience, I have a strong background in counseling psychology and clinical mental health counseling. I currently provide therapy to a diverse population of kids and young adults ages 12–30.
