Bio

Hi there, I’m Hanh!

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduated from Rockhurst University, and I’ve always loved learning—and helping others learn. Before that, I earned a Biology degree on a full-ride scholarship at UMKC, a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from KCUMB, and graduated in the top 10% of my high school class at Lincoln College Prep.

Hi there, I’m Hanh!

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduated from Rockhurst University, and I’ve always loved learning—and helping others learn. Before that, I earned a Biology degree on a full-ride scholarship at UMKC, a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from KCUMB, and graduated in the top 10% of my high school class at Lincoln College Prep.

For the past 7+ years, I’ve tutored students of all ages—from elementary to college students tackling tough math and science classes, as well as test prep. I’ve also worked with students who learn differently or need extra support, and I know how powerful the right approach can be.

I initially start with seeing what your academic needs are, and start to plan out what will be the best way to help you succeed! I implement resources and strategies that best fit your learning style and goals. During our tutoring sessions, I’ll explain concepts step by step, in ways that make sense and connect the dots for what was seemingly difficult before. I’ll use practice problems and examples so the foundational concepts really sticks. I’ll make sure you feel confident before moving on to the next topic. Most importantly—I’ll remind you that learning can be fun (yes, even math!). My students don’t just improve their grades—they walk away believing in themselves. And honestly, that’s my favorite part of tutoring: watching students go from uncertainty to confident.

To give you the best session possible, I ask for 12–24 hours of prep time with your materials (quizzes, PowerPoints, homework, etc.). As for in person tutoring, I meet in-person at libraries in Gladstone, MO. Test prep pricing is a little different, so feel free to message me for details.

Great at explaining! Patient and clear.

Hanh was great! She was clear, explained things well and didn’t just show our son how to do the work but guided him, coming up with sample problems. He was struggling today for a test that is tomorrow and she was so flexible to agree to a session with short notice. After one session he has gone from being certain he was going to fail his test to being confident he will get a high score. Highly recommend!

Hanh took the initiative of looking at what I sent her that I needed to work on and created a slideshow just for me. And then, after tutoring me, she rapid fired questions at me to ensure that I remembered what was taught. She is a phenomenal tutor for DPT students

Hahn was very flexible with scheduling and was very communicative. Our daughter has always struggled with Math and needed to pass College Math 101 to be able to move on to some other courses. Hahn’s knowledge helped her improve so much and we were so thankful to find her. I really enjoyed working with Hanh. She created PowerPoints for each of our lessons and always was very prepared. She is certainly very knowledgable in cell bio and from getting two Ds on midterms, I was able to finish with a B in the class. I highly recommend Hanh's tutoring to supplement individual studying.
