I started preparing for the ACT around December, and at first, I found it incredibly challenging. The test almost felt like a foreign language—I wasn't used to the fast pace it demanded while also needing to maintain a very high level of accuracy to earn a competitive score. Before working with Michael, I had tried two other tutors, but he immediately stood out. Once I started taking lessons with Michael, everything became much more manageable. He introduced me to effective test-taking strategies, taught me the key concepts I needed to know, and helped me approach the exam with much more confidence. He's incredibly hardworking, dedicated, and somehow manages to make every lesson enjoyable with his sense of humor, which made learning far more engaging than it had been with my previous tutors. Thanks to Michael's guidance, I was able to improve my score significantly. I initially struggled the most with the English section because answering 50 questions in 35 minutes felt overwhelming. With Michael's help, I raised my English score to a 35. On my second ACT, I earned a 34 composite score, which I'm extremely proud of. A big reason I achieved that result was because Michael encouraged me to take the test again after my first attempt and helped me believe I could do even better. My daughter has had a great experience working with Michael while preparing for the SAT. We tried a local prep center, but she couldn’t seem to get past a 1390. When she first met Michael, he picked up on her frustration right away and reassured her that he could help. Michael keeps lessons engaging with humor and a warm approach, but he also challenges and pushes her to improve. My daughter feels that Michael cares about her success. He motivated her to stick with it and put in the study time, which isn’t easy on top of schoolwork. She became so comfortable working with Michael that she stopped seeing her math tutor and asked Michael for additional help. The results speak for themselves: her March SAT score was a 1490, with a 50 point jump in both math (760) and English (730). She is excited to keep working with Michael as she aims for a 1500+. THE BEST TUTOR EVER!!
I have never met a tutor as effective as Micheal. Before Micheal, I had a 29 on the ACT. After working with him, I got my score up to a 34. However, the journey did not stop there. Micheal encouraged me to take the ACT one more time. I got a 36!!! As a student with severe dyslexia, I never thought a perfect score was possible. With Micheal's support and encouragement, my dream became a reality. I recommend Micheal for help with test prep and all school subjects!

Genius and helpful tutor!!!!!
Michael helped improve my SAT score by 200 points in just a month and helped me understand calc and improved my grade by 15%!!!! Michael has been very quick to notice my areas of needed improvement when practicing for the SAT, and is very quick to help and come up with numerous solutions so that I'm able to quickly and fully understand!! He's very quick to notice my skills and help improve my academic weak points and is such a consistent tutor that is effectively able to show his expertise and helps me fully understand and know the material I am learning. Significant ACT score improvement in one month!
I started sessions with Micheal about a month before my December ACT, and he helped me score above 30 on the first try. As well as a 35 on the English section which was previously my lowest! He has been very helpful and super encouraging, and i'm looking forward to continue working with him.
