My most recent role has been as a substitute teacher for various school districts like Wayzata, Orono, Osseo Area, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and more. Each day I bring a mindset of reaching every kid I possibly can, and helping cultivate their passion for learning. While some positions are day to day, I’ve also had the opportunity to fill in long-term in classrooms. Those experiences in particular have prepared me to teach in my own classroom this coming fall. I was able to practice classroom management, develop, execute, and adjust curriculum, and most importantly, foster the children’s academic growth.
