Hi my name is Santanu, I have a master's degree in applied mathematics from Trinity College(Dublin Ireland) ,with a minor in chemistry and physics. I am a CRLA ( College Reading and Learning Association) certified tutor and held the position of head math and science tutor at Oakland Community College. I have several years of experience in tutoring chemistry, math and physics. I have tutored students ranging from elementary school level to college level. My teaching style involves detailed explanation of the concepts prior to application. I enjoy working with students and helping make difficult subjects possible to learn.One advantage of tutoring is the opportunity to customize your teaching style to the student. This is what I do as a tutor.I am looking forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with you. An Excellent Calculus Tutor - Reliable, Friendly and Knows the Material!

My 10th grade son has been tutoring with Santanu in person for many months to help with pre-calculus. My son was struggling in his pre-calc class, and is now getting in the upper 80's and 90's on homework, quizes and tests, and this is all due to Santanu's help. Santanu is able to work with my son to learn the material in a more comprehensible way, which has been so helpful.
