I have 9 years of substitute teaching experience combined in the Prince Georges and Montgomery County Public School system in Math, Sciences, Music, Physical Education, Computer Technology...
I have been blessed with an education second to none from Trinidad and Tobago and the United States, and it would be more than fulfilling to share what I know with others. I hold an MD degree from Howard University College of Medicine and a BS degree in Zoology from the Howard University College of Arts and Sciences. I have received many awards from these institutions inclusive of the Phi Beta Kappa Award for the highest freshman average (1988-89), the Marion Merrell Dow Minority Scholar Award for Neurology in 1995, and the Roland and Waldean S. Nickens Scientific Research Award for being the 1st place presentation winner at the 16th Annual Howard University Medical Center Scientific Forum in 2001 at the end of my Orthopaedic Surgery residency training. I have 37 years of music knowledge which started off as piano lessons and diversified into music production, sound engineering and recording.
I have 9 years of substitute teaching experience combined in the Prince Georges and Montgomery County Public School system in Math, Sciences, Music, Physical Education, Computer Technology and Languages. I am patient and understanding of students educational needs on an individual basis. I am able to break down complex concepts such that students are able to grasp these ideas and reconstruct them. Students today are born into technology, and I embrace and use this to its maximum potential, and combined with the knowledge of old, perfect harmony is created in the learning process.
