Tutoring from Aspiring Medical Student

Hi! My name is Queendalyne, I'm from Bowie, MD, and I am offering tutoring in biology. I graduated from Morgan State University back in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Currently, I am in the process of applying to medical school.

My first experience as a tutor was back in high school. During my junior year, my Algebra 2 teacher noticed that I was having excelling in her class. She then offered me the opportunity to tutor some of my classmates (juniors and seniors) who were not doing well in the course, and I accepted the job. Each class period, I tutored a few of my classmates and they later on showed improvement within the course.

My teaching style includes lectures, for the student to gain understanding of the course material, and practice quizzes/games to utilize active recall. I also provide flashcards for the student so that they can practice active recall and space repetition outside of the tutoring session. I am seeking to help students who are struggling in their courses by providing support and proper guidance in order for them to excel in their course.
