Hi I'm Cameron! I graduated last year from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with distinct with a degree in Mathematical Science. During my time in school, I noticed that the better the teacher is, the more fun math became. So, I wanted to make math fun for everyone by being a great teacher! I started off in college, where I have become a teacher's assistant for two years, and was a peer tutor for my senior year. Due to this, I have become very successful at teaching Calculus I, II, III, and Linear Algebra, both to a large class or one-on-one. In addition, I have been able to tutor high school students in Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus for one year.
My lessons focus a lot on the student answer questions. First, a student will tell me what topic they want to go over. Then, I create a personalized lesson plan for that student that makes learning interesting and fun. This plan includes many practice problems, which some I will go over, step by step, and the rest the student will attempt with my help. After the session, I send the student both notes on what we went over, and more resources to understand the material better.
