Get tutoring in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics from an adjunct professor who explains the material very clearly. I tutor both executives and students. People are surprised at how quickly they can learn these subjects once they are given a clear explanation.
I have over 20 years of experience tutoring accounting, finance, economics and statistics. I have a master's degree in accounting, and I currently teach statistics, accounting, and finance at local colleges, where students have given me great evaluations. Get tutoring in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics from an adjunct professor who explains
I am confident that George can tutor just about any kind of student in the subject of statistics. I went into my introductory business statistics course with a negative attitude. I had already attempted the class during a previous semester, but dropped out of the class because I had no understanding of the material. After a single one hour meeting with George, I understood more about statistics than I had during my 6 week attendance of class during a previous semester. I have continued to see George and since have received an average of 96% on all of my exams and homework assignments. I highly recommend George to anybody who thinks that statistics is too complicated for them and overly frustrating. George puts it all into a great perspective and patiently waits for you to understand the material before moving on.
He taught me the journal entries, I liked the way he was helpful and made sure I understood everything. I accomplished how to understand/analyze a question for journal entries.
Managerial accounting- he explained cvp, abc, abm, outsourcing in detail. He wrote down various examples for each topic and explained it several times. He was extremely helpful.
Very knowledgeable. Very good at explaining accounting concepts. Has been very helpful with an accelerated summer class. Flexible with meeting times.
I contacted George a few weeks before my finance final, which was worth 60% of my grade. I was so confused, and I had about 6 chapters of material I needed help with. George was able to explain things very clearly to me, so I could finally understand what I was doing. After only three sessions with George, I was able to bring up my failing grade and pass my class.
George has been a great help with my statistics class. He explains the lessons in simple terms and then always spends the time to ask if I understand or if I have any questions. Has been flexible with scheduling time. Thank you
10/3- another lesson which was very helpful. Thank you again for all your support and assistance.
George has been an excellent resource. He has a thorough understanding of all subject matter and can convey this in an easily understood way. He's very accommodating, supportive, and he promotes confidence in his student's ability to get through their courses. I highly recommend him.
George has tutored me in Financial Management. Prior to his help, I was completely lost in the class. Not only am I doing well now, George gave me the confidence I needed to understand the formulas. He is excellent with a financial calculator and is very knowledgeable about the subject matter. He is patient and really knows how to teach the concepts necessary to excel in Finance. I would highly recommend him. He is flexible with his time and is willing to stay until the lesson is fully comprehended. His help was invaluable.
George is very patient and thoughtful. When the subject is difficult to grasp, he thinks of ways to make the subject matter more intuitive. In the end, I always learn the concepts which seemed difficult for me in the past.
What I usually learn in 4 hours I learned in 1 hour with this tutor. mI really recommend him for statistics, I honestly hate math and with this tutoring I really understood and got a good grade.
George takes his time to explain statistics. He works at my pace and doesn't move forward until I fully understand the content. As an adult learner he shows me the formula, how to solve it and then allows me to complete problems with his guidance. I would highly recommend him to anyone struggling or just needing some extra help.
George was very patient and explained things to me, so I was able to fully understand. I plan on working with George again.
I have had issues understanding my Managerial Accounting class, as my professor does not seem to explain things where I can really understand the subject. I have recently had one meeting last week with George and he took the time and was very patient with tutoring me in the subject. The result was 100 on my homework assignment (which I was not able to achieve in the past in this class). I have met with George today for tutoring on the same subject and he took his time in explaining that all the information in my homework problems was not necessary and that I should think about the question they are asking me. He went over my homework and I seemed to understand quickly how to work out the problems. I will definitely request a meeting with George again for this subject and for my upcoming Finance class.
Thanks George. I really appreciate your help.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a master's degree in accounting from Bentley University, and I have taught accounting for a total of 16 years as an adjunct professor at Mount Ida College and then at Nichols College. Students are often baffled by accounting because their teachers do not explain it very well. Students tell me they are surprised at how much easier the subject is once I have explained it, because I explain it very clearly. I tutor both financial and managerial accounting.
I have taught college level courses in small business management, operations management, management science, accounting, accounting software, and finance, and I have run my own business for over 20 years. I explain all of these subjects very clearly.
I have taught a course in finance as an adjunct professor at Nichols College, and I have tutored students in this subject for over 20 years. I am able to explain difficult concepts in finance in simple terms that students easily understand. Students tell me that they like the way I explain this subject very clearly. I can explain how to use a financial calculator, which is usually an essential tool for finance students, and I am a successful stock market investor.
I have a master's degree in accountng, and I have several times taught a course at Nichols College in the use of QuickBooks accounting software. I also teach accounting courses at that school, and I explain things very clearly.
I have taught an introductory level statistics course at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell for 10 years, and the students there have given me very high ratings on a website that rates professors because I explain the subject very clearly. Students tell me they are surprised at how quickly and easily they learn this subject when I explain it to them.
