Dear student,
The journey to reach my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science required an immense variety of knowledge. I had studied intensely earning A's and B's in my ComSci and Math courses. My skills from this degree range from data structures and algorithms, web development, and so on. Whichever subject you want to learn, I am sure to have had experience and success with the material.
I have been a teaching assistant for college students in Data Structures and Algorithms and Software Engineering courses. I led my students to success. Major roadblocks, such as code or configuration issues, were guided by me. My openness and empathy allowed otherwise shy students to reach out to me. I created a sense of camaraderie amongst the class where we motivated each other to complete the course. My professors and students have told me they wish they could have me again as a TA.
I have been programming in Java since 2018. I have success in this language having aced 3 high-level programming courses in Java. My semester-long 40+ hours a week projects in Software Engineering and Software Testing were in Java. These were also aced. Java is my expertise and I have had great success.
For web development, I can help you with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other full stack technologies such as React. I graduated an intense web development bootcamp called Launch Academy in Boston in 2020. Here, I learned how to make full-stack web applications and completed 2 grand projects. I have also aced my Modern Web Applications course with another 2 projects under my belt. I created the website for a real world nonprofit called the Be Fed Foundation. Web development is another part of my expertise.
My teaching style is one of empathy. I can feel when you do not understand something. I will not be annoyed or condescending; we will work towards a solution together. I provide plenty of examples and analogies. Whatever it takes, I will help you grasp the concepts.
I look forward to working with you!
