Bio

I have over 20 years of demonstrated success as a standardized test tutor, including 10 years of teaching a GED prep course at a community college.

I was employed until last year as a secondary adult education teacher helping students prepare for all 5 parts of the GED/HISET exam.

I'm currently a math adjunct and tutor at a community college, which I've been associated with for over 20 yrs.

My specialty is math, which according to the MA DOE, is the most challenging content area for 95%...

I can provide prep test for TEAS; focus on math, including the 4 basic operations, geometry and algebra. The content area of TEAS is very similar to the GED and ASVAB, subjects which I'm certified to tutor. I'm also certified to tutor algebra and SAT math, having passed Wyzant's qualifying exams in those areas. I've also taught college algebra and tutored math at a local community college.

James was able to help me understand how to take and pass the Hiset exam! I took the test without tutoring and failed my first try scoring a 7 on the exam.
