She is teaching me Biblical Hebrew by having me read from the BHS, translate all words, conjugate all verbs with explanations as to how to conjugate the verbs, and syntax. Excellent knowledge of the subject. Conveys information clearly and effectively. Thoroughly enjoy working with her!

Shira is an incredible teacher - patient, kind, and is able to cater to individual learning styles. We used to meet 2x a week in Boston but since the pandemic have been meeting virtually. Amazingly gifted teacher

Shira worked with my seven-year-old boys in Hebrew. She assessed their proficiency/deficits with block reading/writing and moved on to script reading/writing. She was extremely patient with them and able to engage them in the process. What an amazing gift!

Wonderful First Meeting (And Continued)

9/5/14 Shira is a lovely lady and very simpatico. I am so pleased she comes from Israel and therefore brings the entire package with her in terms of the Hebrew language and the authenticity: grammar, conversation, and the experience. I am looking forward to our first "real" one hour session. 11/7/14 I am very pleased with my one hour sessions. The hour just flies by-there is so much to learn and discuss. Shira is an excellent tutor and possesses a lovely, calm demeanor which lends itself beautifully to the learning process. 12/2/14 Our last lesson on 11/30 was really good. Shira has been a great help in assisting me on learning the chant symbols for reading from the Torah. I have been asked by my niece to participate in my great-nephew's Bar Mitzvah Torah reading and Shira has gotten me off to a wonderful start.
