Bio

I received my PhD in the Chemistry and Chemical Biology department at Harvard University. I have been a teaching assistant for both organic chemistry and biochemistry at Harvard and have also been the head teaching assistant for Harvard's first semester organic chemistry course. I received my B.S. in chemistry with a focus on organic chemistry from UC Berkeley and have experience taking both undergraduate and graduate level courses.

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School. My research focused on the synthesis of molecules, so I have a breadth and depth of knowledge in organic chemistry. I also study how these drugs work in a biological context and am also familiar with chemical biology. David was incredibly amazing! I cannot say enough positive things. I came to every session lost in the material, and he summarized it well, outlining the key points and clarifying the sections that gave me trouble. Most weeks he even had a powerpoint prepared for the section I was learning. I scored well above average on every exam I took and got what I needed to get into graduate school, I ended up with an A in organic chemistry!
