I tailor each session to the student's specific learning goals and style while also leveraging my experience going through the local school systems. For math and science (my specialties), I am a strong believer that developing an understanding of the problems at hand is far superior to memorizing formulas, and that a strong understanding leads to intuition that's easy to remember in the long term. Plus, it's much more rewarding for the student as well.
