I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Highest Honors in History and Government from Harvard University and am currently a PhD candidate in Political Science at MIT. I completed an extensive senior thesis research and writing project, as well as maintaining high grades in all of my courses throughout school.

I have experience with tutoring specifically in U.S. history, especially geared for the Advanced Placement U.S. History exam, teaching students during my final year of high school. I also studied for and took about 14 Advanced Placement exams, including World History, European History, English Language, and English Literature in high school, and received grades of 5 on all of them.

I am a strong believer in writing and practice as a way to develop skills, while discussing complex issues verbally is the best way to grasp the nuance of the subject. I want to help students develop both their writing and reading skills, as well as their comprehension and ability to express that comprehension through discussion and public speaking.

In college, I was the senior director of training for our Model United Nations team, which involved teaching students both complex international relations concepts, the specific dynamics of committee structure, and the skills underlying strong public speaking. I am excited to bring my love of history, government, and literature, as well as my background in speaking, reading, and writing, to helping students excel.
