KCL Professor - Tutor for Philosophy, Writing, & Work Habits

I'm currently an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and living in London. From 2022--23 I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in philosophy at MIT. I completed my PhD at the University of Michigan in 2022.

My experience with tutoring and teaching is fairly broad. I was an Instructor at the University of Michigan for several years, leading discussion sections on topics ranging from political economy to epistemology, and from ethics to rational choice theory. I have also taught Intro to Philosophy and will teach a seminar at MIT in the Spring. Before teaching at the University of Michigan, I was a Teaching Assistant at CTY (Center for Talented Youth) in philosophy of mind and logic, where I taught advanced high school students. In addition, I've tutored students in middle school in topics ranging from study skills to SAT prep as well as adult students. I am passionate about helping students learn and look forward to teaching them.

Right now, I am especially interested in helping students develop their writing and other academic skills. I am happy to meet regularly or to give one-off feedback on paper drafts, especially for philosophy courses. I have also mentored students who were interested in applying to or were currently enrolled in philosophy graduate programs. In addition to helping students with their analytical skills, I have also helped them with work habits and related skills.
