I’m an MIT Electrical Engineering and Computer Science senior who scored 800 on SAT Math and earned a 5 on AP Calculus BC. I tutor SAT Math, AP Calculus AB and BC, and foundational math, including prealgebra, algebra, and geometry. My goal is to help students understand the reasoning behind each solution so they can tackle new problems with confidence.
I taught sixth-grade math online through Lessonpal for one year and privately tutored two prealgebra students for a semester. I also spent two years volunteering in an after-school program for third- and fourth-grade students, finding creative ways to make math engaging. These experiences taught me to adjust my explanations to each student rather than repeat the same method when something isn’t clicking.
In our lessons, we’ll work through problems together and look closely at mistakes: where the reasoning changed course, why, and what to try next time. For SAT Math, I can help identify recurring errors, reinforce weak topics, and practice pacing. For calculus or school math, we can focus on the concepts and assignments you’re working on. I want students to leave each lesson knowing how to approach the next problem on their own.
