I am currently an undergraduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City. I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience, beginning in high school, and have worked with students ranging from elementary school through high school. My teaching experience includes serving as an Assistant Teacher at a mathematics enrichment program, where I organized classroom activities, graded assignments, and worked closely with students in elementary and middle school. I have also provided one-on-one tutoring in reading and SHSAT preparation at Star Learning Center. In addition, I cofounded a competition math program for middle school students, designing lessons and helping students develop strong problem-solving skills and mathematical confidence. Through these experiences, I have taught in both classroom and one-on-one settings and have learned how to adapt my teaching approach to meet students at different skill levels.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades and test scores, but also to build a deep understanding of the material so they become more confident and independent learners.
