I am a dedicated and motivated tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, a Master of Public Health, and a MD from Harvard. I graduated with college with honors and scored int in the top 99th percentile on both the SAT and ACT. Throughout my academic career, I have developed effective study strategies and a deep understanding of core subjects, which I enjoy sharing with others.

I have over 5 years of academic and standardized testing tutoring experience. I have tutored high school, college, and medical students in one-on-one settings, virtually and in person, helping them improve subject knowledge, improve performance on exams, and increase confidence in their academic and test taking abilities. I also have experience mentoring and advising students through the college and medical school application processes.

My tutoring approach is structured but flexible, patient, student-centered, and results oriented. I take time to identify each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style so I can customize my approach to meet their individual needs and goals. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and teaching students how to approach problems strategically rather than memorizing answers. For SAT and ACT prep, I emphasize both content mastery and test-taking strategies, including time management and question analysis. I also emphasize strong study habits, organization, and problem-solving skills. My goal is not only to help students raise their scores or grades, but also to equip them with skills and strategies they can apply in future academic settings.
