Hi, I’m Rashi! I graduated from Caltech with a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering and am now pursuing my PhD at MIT in the same field. My academic training has given me a deep foundation in math, science, and data analysis, but I also bring a strong passion for writing and communication. Through years of academic research and involvement with groups like the MIT Grad Blog, I’ve honed my ability to write clearly and effectively, and I enjoy helping students strengthen both their technical problem-solving and their expressive writing skills.

Over the years, I’ve taught and mentored high school, college, and graduate students across a wide range of subjects—from algebra and biology to statistics, coding, and academic writing. As a teaching assistant at both MIT and Caltech, I led discussions, guided students through hands-on problem-solving, and supported them in developing their communication skills. In one-on-one settings, I focus on meeting students where they are, adapting lessons to their pace and learning style, and encouraging them to reach answers through guided reasoning. Whether it’s clarifying a tough math concept or polishing an essay, I strive to build both confidence and mastery.
