I am a senior at Harvard studying neuroscience with a minor in global health and health policy. I am a premedical student and will be attending medical school starting in the fall. I have a strong passion for writing and journalism, including creative, scientific, and medical writing. I have over 40 publications in magazines and academic journals, including The Lancet Regional Health Americas, The Lancet Neurology, Health Affairs Forefront, The Boston Globe, and New Scientist.
In high school, I served as a peer tutor in mathematics, where I helped students complete their math homework spanning subjects such as algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus. I also served as a writing and reading tutor for elementary schoolers, where I helped them with reading comprehension and writing analytical essays.
In college, I volunteered in a second grade classroom, where I led small-group workshops to provide extra math support to students. I have also served as a course assistant for biology and physics in college-level classes, where I led office hours sessions and one-on-one tutoring to help students grasp class material complete homework assignments.
I am currently offering tutoring services for writing, including for college application essays.
