I have been playing violin since the age of 5 and have performed with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Xi’an Academy Orchestra several times as a soloist. I played chamber music with some of the most inspiring musicians including Yo-Yo Ma, Grammy winner Wu Man, and Steven Mackey. I played chamber music with some of the most inspiring musicians including Yo-Yo Ma, Grammy winner Wu Man, and Steven Mackey. I have received fellowships from Yellow Barn, Tanglewood Music Center, Perlman music program, Music Academy of the West, NYSOS, in the past few years and worked closely with Takacs Quartet in MAW string quartet fellowship program. As a passionate chamber musician and educator, I have spent 2 years at Kneisel Hall chamber music festival both as young artist and as a mentor for student program. I have a teaching certificate from New England Conservatory of Music where I completed my master’s degree and I’m also having an active private teaching studio in Cambridge, MA where my students win awards in music, pass auditions for orchestra auditions and nail their theory+history exams at school! My teaching styles are Inspiring and practical! Every single student is unique. And I value that uniqueness deeply. As a teacher, I’d like to develop that gift and make it work! I’m Good at preparing students for auditions/exams and competitions or simply develop a hobby and enjoy music making!!
