It is not easy for very smart people to translate their vast knowledge to beginners in an accessible, engaging way. This is sometimes a pain point when encountering brilliant people. But Nghia (obviously brilliant) has been so patient, attentive and fun, using my son’s interest in Pokémon to expose him to a brand new subject. I am a health care worker new to the programming world. I was hoping to see if I can learn some basic Python to eventually be able to learn how to extract health care/science data and to learn to how manipulate then, and then to be able to display the results. After reading Nghia's profile I was at first reluctant to reach out to him since he is working at a more advanced level. However, I am very glad that I did reach out time. He was a very good listener and quickly understood my level of understanding and started at the very basic level, not only with learning the python language, but also how to work with the python environment (in which my case I was using Jupyter notebook). And he continued to ask during the tutor session to let him know if I think he is going to slow or too fast. After my 1 hr session I feel I am now able to get a generally understanding Python and can continue to built on it. I would highly recommend Nghia for other's tutoring needs.
