I received a 3.93 GPA in my BS in Data Science at Northeastern, while also pursuing undergraduate research, serving as a teaching assistant and tutor in Computer Science, and working part-time. After graduation, I worked as a machine learning engineer for Klaviyo for one and a half years, and then as a senior software engineer at Apple for two and a half years.
I taught hundreds of Northeastern students in Fundamentals of Computer Science, where I worked as a tutor or a TA for six of my seven semesters. (The other semester, I was taking the course, and not eligible to teach it). Once per week, in the two-hour-long lab, I would give a lecture and hands-on demonstration, and then assist students as they worked through the sample problems for the lab. Additionally, I lead a three-week-long workshop for the American Society for Mechanical Engineers, teaching mechanical engineers to learn python and some of the basics of applying machine learning.
