Hello! I'm Lucy, an economics major with coursework in multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and statistics. Throughout my educational journey, I've experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to grasp complex material, especially when you feel like you're missing something foundational. That’s why I am so passionate about helping students build a solid foundation so that they can tackle complex questions with ease. I bring my experiences as a student directly into my work, patiently guiding students every single step of the way through their problems and teaching foundational concepts so students can make sense of complicated topics.
I spent 35+ hours tutoring online, and have experience working with students aged 4-5 through eighth grade in the classroom. I spent a summer as a Lead Instructor at a STEM summer camp and multiple years as a teacher’s assistant, where I worked one-on-one with students. I patiently guided my students through their projects and gave students feedback on their work, supporting each student’s individual needs.
