I graduated from Stuyvesant High School with a 4.0 GPA and will be attending Harvard University as a neuroscience major this fall! I am passionate about STEM so throughout high school, I have excelled in competitions like Science Olympiad and Biology Olympiad. I received a 1560 on the SAT, 664 on the SHSAT, 1480 on the PSAT as a national merit scholarship recipient, and 5s on my AP Exams.

I am the founder and president of multiple STEM-based educational programs including STEMinism and the Youth Science Initiative. For STEMinism, I manage and supervise STEM-oriented one-on-one mentoring program for over 100 female middle school students. I also design presentations for weekly mentoring sessions on various topics including Algebra and Neuroscience. For Youth Science Initiative, I coordinate and hold biweekly meetings to prepare engaging presentations for elementary school kids. I have really enjoyed my teaching and mentoring experiences which have been a mix of classroom presentations and one-on-one tutoring sessions. I believe that consistency and discipline are what makes a student successful and as such, a lot of my lessons are oriented around practice.

In high school, I participated in both MIT’s Introduction to Technology, Engineering, and Science Summer program (formerly known as MOSTEC) and Carnegie Mellon University’s Summer Academy for Math and Science, where I was awarded the 2023 Academic Excellence Award. I was also awarded the 2023 Coca-Cola Scholarship (150 scholars out of 91,000 applicants), Elks Scholarship, and Albert Shanker Scholarship.
