I'm also pursuing two master's degrees, one at Harvard and another in Flute Performance at New England Conservatory. I have 6+ years of experience tutoring students in a variety of areas: college applications, essay writing, and ACT/SAT English and Reading sections.

College Applications
During my admissions cycle, I was accepted to multiple top-schools like Princeton and Harvard, where I currently attend. I've used this experience to help other students get into colleges such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Rice, Carnegie Mellon, the UC’s, and Juilliard.

Essay Writing
I’ve consistently received perfect marks in undergraduate and graduate humanities and social science courses at Harvard.

ACT or SAT English/Reading
I received perfect 36 scores on the ACT English and Reading Sections, and ranked in the top percentiles of the SAT literature subject test.

My Mission Statement
Narrative, narrative, narrative. How can you tell your story to a stranger behind a screen in just a few sentences? How do you stand out among the stacks of applications in the admissions office? Having navigated this process multiple times, I’ll help you distill your narrative into a 650 word essay. I specialize in crafting compelling applications, bringing your unique background to life on paper. I guide students through the entire process, from generating ideas to polishing essays, and provide support for other components like school selection and extracurriculars. My goal is to make this process about you and to make sure you feel confident and supported throughout!

About me: I enjoy playing in Harvard’s orchestra, writing for my school’s international review, and finding new coffee shops. I also love to experiment with recipes, travel, and learn new languages. Please reach out if you have any questions, and I look forward to working with you!

College Counseling

My journey through the college admissions process was highly successful, with acceptances to Ivy League institutions and prestigious conservatories, including Harvard (where I attend now), Princeton, Rice's Shepherd School of Music, and New England Conservatory. I have a proven track record of helping others gain admission to these elite schools, and I am excited to assist you in crafting an admissions essay that tells your unique story. My extensive experience navigating the application process -- both personally and with others -- has given me the insight and strategies to help your application stand out. I know firsthand how stressful college applications can be. My goal is to make the application process less overwhelming and more transparent, providing you with the tools and support to craft a successful application.
Flute

Flute

I am currently in the Harvard / New England Conservatory dual-degree program, where I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Flute Performance. I was part of the National Youth Orchestra (NYO-USA) in 2020 and 2021, and have appeared on NPR's From the Top. I have had first-place finishes in the Blount Slawson Young Artist Competition, the Atlanta Flute Club Junior Artist Competition, and second place in the US Navy Band Young Artist and UNCSA Wind Competitions. In high school, I also ranked first in the Tennessee All-State. Beyond performing, I am deeply committed to music education. I have taught students of all ages for 5+ years, and have extensive experiences both as a performer and educator. My passion for music and teaching, combined with a proven track record of success, ensures that my students will receive top-tier instruction tailored to their individual needs. Whether you are a beginner looking to start your musical journey or an advanced player wanting to refine your skills, I would love to work with you to help you achieve your musical goals.
Reading

Reading

I work with students to improve their ACT Reading and English scores, and also have experience tutoring younger students in reading and writing. When tutoring students, I prioritize discovering what captivates them. My goal is to transform reading from a chore into a passion by tailoring our sessions and reading material around their interests. This approach not only enhances their engagement with reading, but also ensures that the curriculum resonates with their unique needs and preferences, making learning enjoyable and effective.

Efficient, Caring, and Detail-Oriented Guidance

If you’re looking for a counselor with truly impactful insight, I highly recommend working with Sasha. She helped me with my personal statement and multiple supplemental essays, and I could tell she’s incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to structure, flow, and even the smallest details. Sasha is also very flexible and often helped me with small edits outside of our scheduled sessions. She’s a counselor who genuinely cares and knows what she’s doing. In just 4–5 one-hour sessions, I was able to make real progress on essays for about 10 schools. She’s efficient, thorough, and amazing to work with.

The Most Articulate and Insightful Tutor I Know

Sasha has single-handedly guided me through my entire college application process. I came in with ideas for essays, but I struggled to put them into words in a clear, compelling way. Sasha helped me streamline my thoughts, strengthen my storytelling, and turn my drafts into impactful essays that truly reflect my voice. She kept me on track with every deadline and was someone I could always rely on—even during the most stressful weeks. She is incredibly articulate and knows exactly how to take your ideas and transform them into something powerful. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs help refining, streamlining, or editing their essays!

Guidance beyond grammar

Working with Sasha was less about fixing sentences and more about uncovering what I was really trying to say. She brought timeliness and professionalism, yes, but also a rare gift: the ability to make me pause, reflect, and refine my own voice. I left each session with sharper essays and deeper clarity.
