Hi, I'm Sasha, a pre-law senior at Harvard double-majoring in Social Studies and East Asian Studies. I'm also pursuing two master's degrees, one in Regional Studies East Asia and another in Flute Performance through the Harvard / New England Conservatory program. I have 6+ years of experience tutoring students in a variety of areas: college applications, essay writing, and ACT/SAT English and Reading sections.
College Applications
During my admissions cycle, I was accepted to multiple top-schools, including Harvard, Princeton, and Rice. I've used this experience to help other students get into colleges such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Rice, Carnegie Mellon, the UC’s, and Juilliard.
Essay Writing
I’ve consistently received perfect marks in undergraduate and graduate humanities and social science courses at Harvard.
ACT or SAT English/Reading
I received perfect 36 scores on the ACT English and Reading Sections, and ranked in the top percentiles of the SAT literature subject test.
My Mission Statement
Narrative, narrative, narrative. How can you tell your story to a stranger behind a screen in just a few sentences? How do you stand out among the stacks of applications in the admissions office? Having navigated this process multiple times, I’ll help you distill your narrative into a 650 word essay. I specialize in crafting compelling applications, bringing your unique background to life on paper. I guide students through the entire process, from generating ideas to polishing essays, and provide support for other components like school selection and extracurriculars. My goal is to make this process about you, not the school, and to make sure you feel confident and supported throughout!
About me: I enjoy playing in Harvard’s orchestra, writing for my school’s international review, and finding new coffee shops. I also love to experiment with recipes, travel, and learn new languages. Please reach out if you have any questions, and I look forward to working with you!
