Karine is a fantastic French tutor. She and I have just begun to work together. The best part about working with her is that she develops a long term language plan with you, so that you may work towards your goals together. She develops the lesson plans herself, according to your level and needs. She is very patient and allows for you to have all of the benefits of a native speaker, but in a comfortable environment. Karine makes the process of learning another language that much less daunting, because she knows her stuff very well. She has able to help me with my pronunciation and reading, all while being enthusiastic and helpful (major confidence boost!). She is also flexible, which is so helpful for someone who is busy, especially with the meeting location. I highly recommend Karine as a French language tutor.

My son tends to be a bit stubborn and does not want to admit that he is struggling with French. Karine is very patient with him and manages to get him to engage in lessons. She is persistent and makes sure that he understands concepts before moving on. As a result, he is establishing a solid foundation in French and his grades are improving. I highly recommend Karine!

I thought that I was a hopeless case for acquiring a second language. Even after having studied French in both high school and college, my conversational ability was still poor, and my grammar skills had disappeared. Fortunately, I found Karine through Wyzant.
