I have previously taught world history at the high school level and interned at the middle school level. In the classroom, I used inquiry based learning in order to accomplish student centered approached. All of my lessons involved a variety of primary sources that force students to analyze from multiple perspectives. Using classroom content to practice real world skills such as analysis, interpterion, and critical thinking were my main objectives.
In multiple classroom settings, I worked with diverse learners. I utilized differentiated instruction to provide my students with different avenues of learning. With this, I developed certain strategies to further my student's knowledge and skills.
I have always emphasized a growth mindset with my students and in every aspect of life. My goal is to encourage students and to help them achieve their dreams.
