I am extremely passionate about helping students reach their academic goals, especially in math and science. As a Chemical Engineering student at Caltech, I use advanced math and science concepts daily, from organic synthesis to mathematical modeling. My teaching philosophy centers on making abstract concepts tangible like using model planes to explain proportions or breaking down problems into manageable steps.

As a Chemical Engineering student at Caltech, I use advanced math and science concepts daily, from organic synthesis to mathematical modeling. My teaching philosophy centers on making abstract concepts tangible like using model planes to explain proportions or breaking down problems into manageable steps.
Over the past ten years, I've worked with students of all ages and abilities from elementary schoolers just starting their academic journey to college students tackling advanced calculus. My goal is not just to help students understand concepts but to build their confidence in their chosen subject.
For the past several years, I've tutored online through programs like Caltech Y Rise and the National Council of Negro Women Young Legends, working with students from 7th grade through college. My subjects include middle and high school math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry), AP Calculus (AB/BC), and college-level math (Calculus 1-3, Statistics); sciences like regular grade-level sciences, chemistry, biology, physics, organic chemistry, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Physics (along with AP exam prep!). Outside of tutoring, I enjoy running long distance (I'm currently training for a 10K race!), baking desserts, and reading (I'm currently reading "Crime and Punishment").
