I have been involved in mentorship opportunities since middle school, when I assisted teachers at my competitive dance studio with preschool dance classes, and continued to do so through the end of my senior year of high school. I also began tutoring in freshman year of high school through the National Honor Society, volunteering to tutor my peers and younger students in subjects ranging from Calculus to Physics to English and everything in between. I believe in positive reinforcement methods, and building confidence in the people I am tutoring so they can learn to have faith in their abilities and grow to attack problems on their own over time. I have tutored both in person and virtually, and have continued to tutor while away at school.
I am excited to work with you and your children on whatever their needs might be to help boost their academic abilities and self esteem in the academic space! I am very well-versed in a multitude of subjects and specialize in the STEM field, especially in areas like Chemistry, Physics, and math, but am also more than able to assist in subjects like some History and English courses. I am also able to provide one-on-one assistance in test prep for things like the PSAT, ACT, and SAT.
