Hi, I'm Mukul! I am an honors student at Purdue University, double majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science in a highly selective program. I specialize in a tutoring a variety of math topics, including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, and Real Analysis. I also prepare students for tests like the SAT, ACT, and AP Calculus AB/BC exams. My five years of tutoring experience help students meet their exam-preparation, grade-improvement, and confidence-building goals.
What truly sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to build relationships with students. I know what it’s like to struggle with math, having faced challenges in many of the courses I now teach. This perspective allows me to connect with students and teach them strategies for both mastering the content and excelling on assessments. My approach is collaborative: I build strong relationships with my students (and parents), helping them feel supported as they master difficult concepts at the high-school or collegiate level.
Since 2021, I’ve specialized in online tutoring, using tools like screen-sharing and electronic whiteboards to make sessions interactive and engaging. I encourage students to collaborate with me as we work through problems, and I provide session recordings so they can review challenging concepts on their own time. One of my most rewarding experiences was helping a student struggling in Linear Algebra transform their performance, going from failing their first exam to earning an A- in the course and excelling in advanced classes like Differential Equations.
