Throughout my life, I have discovered that I have a passion for learning and helping individuals. From kindergarten to my senior year, I was found amazement in each subject. Flash forward, I am now a Junior at Ball State University majoring in Applied Behavior Analysis. I am currently a Registered Behavior Technician and received this certification nearly two years ago. In this position, I teach children with autism new skills and help improve maladaptive behaviors. This allows for the children to have an increase in desired behaviors and skills. The types of environments I have provided services to children include clinics, homes, and schools.
The subject I am most skilled in and find the most joy in is math. I had earned all the required college math credits prior to my senior year of high school. I believe that my career has allowed me to feel comfortable teaching individuals of any age. Although math is my most preferred subject, there is not a subject that I feel uncomfortable teaching nor one that I received lower than an A in. Besides teaching skills to children with autism, another passion of mine is helping others. I find joy in using my skills to help benefit others. My strong academic record and extensive career experience have provided me with the necessary skills and expertise to be an effective and beneficial tutor!
