Hello! My name is Busayo, and I’m currently a medical student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, where I spent all four years actively involved in tutoring and teaching. My experience began as a student counselor and tutor for a year-long summer engineering program, where I guided incoming college students through fundamental STEM concepts using hands-on, project-based learning. Later on, I served as a Teaching Assistant during my junior and senior years, providing one-on-one academic support, running review sessions, and helping students build confidence in their coursework. In addition to tutoring, I founded and led the University of Florida's 3D Printing Club, where I introduced students to design software like AutoCAD, Onshape, and TinkerCAD, and helped them bring innovative biomedical projects to life through modeling and prototyping.

As someone who has navigated the rigors of both engineering and medical school, I understand how challenging and overwhelming academic life can be. My own journey through the early years of medical school wasn’t without struggles, but it taught me how to develop effective study strategies, manage time, and remain resilient in the face of difficulty. These experiences helped shape my tutoring philosophy: I strive to meet students where they are, break down complex topics into understandable parts, and offer both academic and emotional support along the way. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment that not only improves grades but also builds long-term confidence and critical thinking skills.

Whether you’re looking for help with technical subjects like CAD modelling and biomedical engineering or need support navigating the challenges of pre-med or medical coursework, I’m here to help. I’m passionate about teaching, and I’m excited to share the tools, mindset, and knowledge I’ve gained to help you succeed and thrive!

ACT Science

ACT Science

I have a strong foundation in the sciences from my Biomedical Engineering degree at the University of Florida and am currently a medical student at the University of Illinois. I have a deep understanding of both the content and test-taking strategies required for success. I’ve tutored students throughout undergrad and have a passion for helping others grasp difficult concepts in a clear, approachable way. Having overcome my own academic struggles, I bring empathy and effective techniques to support students at all levels.
Anatomy

Anatomy

Anatomy has been a central focus of my medical education and academic journey. I successfully completed the rigorous medical school anatomy lab and am currently engaged in an anatomy research project that continues to deepen my understanding of the subject. Throughout undergrad and medical school, I’ve tutored students in anatomy and related subjects, combining a deep knowledge of the content with effective test-taking strategies. Having overcome my own academic challenges, I’m especially passionate about making difficult concepts approachable and supporting students at all levels with empathy, clarity, and proven techniques.
AutoCAD

AutoCAD

As a medical student with a strong background in design, I have used AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Onshape, and TinkerCAD extensively for various academic and personal projects, including anatomical modeling and device prototyping. I founded and served as president of the 3D Printing Club at the University of Florida, where I led workshops and collaborative projects that integrated 3D modeling with biomedical applications. My experience bridges technical design with healthcare innovation, allowing me to teach AutoCAD with a unique, interdisciplinary perspective. I enjoy helping others learn to use design tools creatively and effectively, regardless of their field.
MCAT

MCAT

I'm a current medical student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a background in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida. Over the past several years, I’ve tutored students in core STEM subjects and helped them develop the problem-solving and critical thinking skills essential for success on the MCAT. My experience includes leading review sessions, providing one-on-one academic support, and guiding students through complex material with a clear, step-by-step approach. As I am now in my clerkship years, I bring real-world clinical knowledge to the material. I understand the demands of MCAT prep firsthand and strive to create a supportive, structured environment that builds both confidence and results.
