Hi, I'm Stone! I graduated with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences in 2023 and a Master's degree in Medical Sciences in 2025. I tutored part-time during college in General Chemistry and Genetics, totaling up to about one and a half years of experience, working with mentee students on both homework and study habits; I also had a leadership role in the study group for my advanced graduate coursework. I understand deeply how difficult and frustrating these subjects can be, but also how rewarding it is to reach an epiphany you've been grappling with for hours. My approach to learning prioritizes understanding concepts for solving problems and maximizing efficiency for memorization, which is different for every individual. Diligence is critical to excelling in the sciences, but efficiency and sustainability are equally important.

For my MCAT test takers, I improved my initial score of 504 to a 521 (130/131/132/128) by constructing a comprehensive study guide that worked around my full-time job. I am familiar with all official MCAT test prep resources, as well as quite a few unofficial ones. I specialize in CARS, and have helped improve my classmates' section scores during graduate school. My approach to the MCAT is equal parts pattern recognition and critical thinking, as the MCAT is an assessment of both logical thinking and memorization.

I want to assist students in achieving their academic objectives, whatever that may be, by helping them find a thinking process that will continue to work for them in subsequent classes or professional work. Finding what works for you will become a larger advantage the more advanced you get, and now is the earliest time.
