Hi! I’m an incoming medical student and a recent graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I earned a 4.0 GPA with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. My academic journey has been defined by a deep interest in the sciences and a commitment to helping others succeed. I also scored a 522 on the MCAT, and I enjoy using what I’ve learned to support other students in mastering challenging material and building their confidence.

I have over five years of combined teaching and tutoring experience. For two years, I worked as a teaching assistant in general chemistry, leading weekly review sessions, creating study materials, and helping students strengthen their problem-solving skills in both small groups and one-on-one settings. In addition, I’ve tutored biology for three years, including genetics, physiology, and biochemistry, working with both high school and college students. A large part of my tutoring has focused on MCAT preparation, where I emphasize building strong foundational knowledge, integrating concepts across subjects, and teaching students how to think critically under time pressure.

My approach is highly personalized and student-centered. I aim to meet each student where they are, whether they’re struggling with course content or aiming for top-tier test scores. I focus on simplifying complex concepts through analogies, active recall, and spaced repetition techniques, while also helping students develop efficient study habits and time management skills. Whether in person or virtually, I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and grow academically.
