Every child can learn Math, just sometimes they don't learn it the way the teacher wants to teach it. I love opening the eyes of students who have struggled with Math. I have taught High School and College and have over 10 years experience. I thoroughly enjoy challenging students, both in the classroom and one-on-one, to stretch their beliefs about math and help them find their path to the answer. Every child can learn Math, just sometimes they don't learn it the way the teacher wants to teach it. I love opening the eyes of students who have struggled with Math. I have taught High School and College and have over 10 years experience. I thoroughly enjoy challenging students, both in the classroom and one-on-one, to stretch their beliefs about math and help them find their path to the answer. I have also had the privilege of tutoring for a number of years and I find that tutoring gives me the ability to work one-on-one with a student and help them achieve greater success where they were struggling before.

I truly believe that all students can have a better understanding of Math and find success. Math is about confidence building and it my goal to have students increase their confidence so they can work to their full potential.

I have a Masters in Mathematics and have been teaching for 10 years. I am very passionate about the subject. I am a certified math teacher in Illinois and have taught high school Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, College Algebra and AP Calculus. I also have taught a few years of college so I also have an understanding of the skills necessary in Math for the student entering college.

I have taught Algebra I for a number of years. I love seeing the student have the "I get it" moment. It is my goal that my students leaving Algebra I with more confidence and skills they need for further math classes.

Wonderful tutor, patient and efficient.

Brigette has been tutoring my 14 year old Freshman who is taking Advanced Algebra Accelerated. My daughter was struggling by mid semester with the class and now she is on pace and feeling much more confident with the material. Extremely helpful!!

We were in a jam... My daughter had a quiz and wasn't sure if she was doing her calculus problems correctly. Brigette came to the rescue!! We had never tutored on line before so this was a new adventure and were very pleased. My daughter finished her session with Brigitte feeling more confidant than she had been even in the classroom!! We will definitely be calling Brigette again :)
