Hello everyone! My name is Hannah, and I'm a student from the University of Pennsylvania who majored in Cognitive Science and minored in Computer Science and Chinese. I graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa in May 2025. This upcoming autumn, I will be pursuing the MSc program in Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovation at Imperial College London.

Throughout college, I was a teaching assistant for various CS courses at Penn, including computer programming languages and human-computer interaction. Every week, I've spent around 20 hours conducting recitations and office hours for my students. Now, as a recent graduate, I would love to bring my experiences in teaching to the greater scale. Additionally, I have taken classes in algorithms and discrete mathematics courses, and therefore would be able to help with understanding other computer science fundamentals.

As an undergraduate at Penn, I've taught various CS courses, including introduction to computer programming and human-computer interaction. As a TA, I conducted office hours and recitations for over 100 students for around 20+ hours a week. I have also taken courses in algorithms, data structures, and discrete mathematics for my CS minor at Penn.

I was on the Ivy League Championships team two years in a row at UPenn, and I have scored at National, State, and Regional meets. I have also coached young swimmers for around 5 years, helping them learn the four basic strokes, turns, and starts.

Patient and individualized approach

Hannah was wonderful! She was approachable, made us feel comfortable, and let us progress at a reasonable pace. She gave us thorough, individualized attention and never made us feel rushed. While my specific breathing issue wasn't resolved immediately, we still made good progress on other basics.
