Your LSAT score is the most important part of your law school application, opening doors to schools you may have dreamed about for years or becoming the reason you don't get the outcome you hoped for. And, when you're studying the LSAT day after day, trying different resources, and still feeling stuck below your goal score, the process can become incredibly stressful and frustrating. I know that feeling because I lived it myself.

I spent a year preparing for the LSAT while working full-time. I took online courses, read several popular prep books, and paid for private tutoring. After multiple attempts, I improved from a diagnostic score of 152 to a 176 (99%).

Simply studying more isn't always the answer; understanding how the LSAT is constructed, recognizing the patterns behind its questions, and developing a reliable approach is the key to a near-perfect score.
Figuring that out took time, so I built a rigorous curriculum to help others do the same. The goal isn't to overwhelm you with information or give you a collection of random tricks; it's to help you understand the test at a deeper level.

The Core Program consists of 12 sessions, while students already scoring 165+ may qualify for a 7-session Advanced Track. Plan for 2–3 hours of study per day with weekly sessions, or 4–6 hours with twice-weekly sessions. I generally recommend starting about three months before the LSAT.

If you're working hard but feel like your score has hit a wall, simply putting in more hours may not be the answer. My job is to help you identify what's holding your score back and give you the tools to break through it. The LSAT is hard, but it is learnable.

If you are interested in working with me, please include the following in your first message:
• Current or most recent LSAT score
• Goal score
• Anticipated test date
• What you have used to study
• Time you can consistently devote to studying each day
• Full availability for recurring sessions

Exactly What I Needed, When I Needed It

From the very beginning of my LSAT journey, Matthew was my first and only option for a tutor. He hit just the right balance of high level tutoring for a mid/high 160s scorer, but also knew when we had to go back to the basics to cement a concept I was missing. He showed up to every lesson ready to help me however I needed it, whether that was spending half the session on one question to really understand it, challenging me when I need to explain my reasoning better, or sharing in my frustration when I hit my plateau. I couldn't have done this without Matthew, and I'll be forever thankful for his believing in me.

Funny & Reassuring

I started LSAT tutoring feeling like I was already 10 steps behind everyone else… and fully expecting to be reminded of that. Instead, I got Matthew, who somehow manages to break down complicated logic while also making me laugh mid-existential LSAT crisis. He created an environment where I could be vulnerable with the questions I asked, (even the “I probably should know this” ones) without feeling embarrassed. That alone made a huge difference in my confidence. I am excited and hopeful for my next session with him. If you want a tutor who is smart, patient, and can make you laugh while your brain is melting, I highly recommend!

Extremely patient and methodical!

Before the tutoring session even happened, Matthew asked for my goals and my most recent LSAT score. He was extremely knowledgeable and prepared for the lesson! I really appreciate that when we were going over practice questions, he took the time to thoroughly explain each answer choice--especially when I didn't really get it the first time. Would highly recommend Matthew for your tutor!

Amazing LSAT Tutor!

My session with Matthew was really productive. He has a calm, clear way of explaining reading comprehension strategies that made the Reading Comprehension section finally make sense. Instead of generic tips, he focused on how I personally read and reason through passages, which helped a lot. I left feeling more confident and with a clear plan to keep improving. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Great Tutor!

I have had a couple of lessons with Matthew; he’s amazing. I took the September LSAT and didn’t do so great. Starting with Matthew has given me a sense of relief to retake the test. He is extremely attentive and really focuses on your mindset when it comes to how you handle the test. I can’t wait to see my LSAT score for November with his help and tutoring.

Amazing tutor

Matthew has taught me valuable skills and techniques for tackling LSAT questions related to Logical Reasoning. He's patient and will adjust to your learning style, but most importantly, he is easy to understand. He will help you through the problem but will also let you attempt to do it yourself, which I find really helpful in grasping the concepts when I do this. I would highly recommend Matthew if you are having a tough time with Logical Reasoning or just the LSAT in general.
