Laura has a Master’s in Foreign Language Teaching from MSU. She has been a Spanish teacher for grades PK-8th as well as a high school Spanish tutor in IL and WI. She has an undergraduate degree in Linguistics and Spanish from Dartmouth College, and she loves sharing her passion for languages with her students. She has studied abroad in Mexico and has worked as a translator, teacher and tutor in the Dominican Republic.

Laura has a passion for working with all ages to help her students grow in their confidence in Spanish. She also tutors students to support their study skills across other disciplines.

She primarily tutors middle school students through adults. She works one-on-one and with small groups in a variety of settings. She has a proven track record of helping her students increase their skills and confidence in speaking Spanish and in improving their grades across other courses.
