I have been playing harp for six years, since first year of high school. I am continuing my harp study at Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music under Professor Lynn Williams to earn a Bachelor of Music. I have played in several orchestras, including Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra and Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, and have given several harp demonstrations and masterclasses.

I have experience in both piano and harp, both of which require music theory. I received a 4 on the AP Music Theory exam. I am currently studying Harp Performance at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, the curriculum for which requires two years of music theory and ear training.

I have been playing piano since I was 4 years old (~15 years). I have played piano in orchestra and am well-versed in piano literature. I have participated and earned top division in Solo and Ensemble contests and was ranked as a finalist for piano for my high school's Senior Solo competition.

Amy did a great job introducing the harp to my young daughter. She was very patient and thoughtful in her approach to the lesson. She is easy to communicate with about logistics for lessons, as well, which is appreciated.
