I taught microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and many applied economics courses at leading universities for 12 years. My classes ranged from introductory economics through advanced undergraduate to PhD level economics. Since leaving academia, I have been a consultant, primarily writing reports covering a wide range of economic issues. I dedicate much of my time to tutoring because I enjoy the work and I am able to significantly improve students' understanding of economics. I want every one of my students to receive A's. Almost all do.

I have studied and taught math and econometrics at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels. My tutoring builds on the understanding that each student at the beginning of each session. I have a PhD from Northwestern University and a degree in Economics from University of Western Ontario.

Prior to turning to economics, my focus was the study of English grammar, rhetoric, and literature. Although my degree is in economics, my study of these topics has never stopped. I have done extensive study of the history of the English language, the origins of modern standard usage, theories of grammar, and the evolution of rhetorical style.

I have taught, and tutored students in microeconomics and macroeconomics at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Our work together will be based on the knowledge and understanding you have of your course or subject at the start of each tutoring session. The pace will match your ability to understand material. If you lack an understanding of background material, we will fill that in. If you are able to go beyond the content of your class to gain a deeper understanding of a topic, we'll go there.
