Hi! I am a sophomore undergrad student at Northwestern University, majoring in Math and Physics. In the past years, I have spent 100+ hours tutoring at Learn To Be, providing individual support to high school students regarding AP Physics C, AP Calculus, and Precalculus. I was also a TA for a college mechanics class, hosting group sessions for 20+ students to review lectures and problem sets. Additionally, I hosted office hours to provide further individual tutoring and offer meaningful feedback to the students' solutions.

As a college student, I have taken a wide variety of math and physics courses, including Real Analysis, Abstract Algebra, Abstract Linear Algebra, Partial Differential Equations, Modern Physics, and Classical Mechanics (graduate-level), achieving an A- or above in all courses while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.93/4.00. In high school, I participated in math and physics competitions, qualifying for the AIME and USA Physics Olympiad (USAPhO).

My teaching habits have strongly relied on drawing analogies and visualizing concepts. This method of teaching becomes essential in upper-level math and physics courses, where seemingly complex ideas stem from fundamental ideas. As an experienced tutor, I am trained to identify when the student fails to identify such connections and intuitively explain how problems are derived from basic principles. However, I remain flexible in my teaching style. For instance, if a student needs preparation for an upcoming test, I will adjust my method accordingly and get through all the topics in time.
