Hi, I’m Iris! I am currently at Northwestern University studying violin performance and psychology. In high school, I had the privilege to teach classical violin and I was able to learn so much from the experience! I enjoyed being able to walk through each student’s musical journey, whether it was learning the scales or mastering a piece. I have a strong desire to share my knowledge and experience with others and I understand the challenges of learning a new instrument so I am committed to helping you overcome your difficulties and achieve your goals. My lessons are engaging and interactive so you can develop your skills and explore your creativity when it comes to classical music!

I have been playing the violin for the past 14 years. In high school, I participated in the Juilliard Pre-College program for violin and viola and I went to LaGuardia High School as a violin major. I started with the Suzuki program at Queens College. I have won first place in multiple competitions such as the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition, Concert Festival International Competitions, New York International Music Competition, and many more. I have had experience with performing solo repertoire, chamber music, and orchestral music at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and more.
