I am a dedicated, competent, and patient-focused Nurse possessing strong practical experience with resilient management skills and a determined and dedicated concern for patient safety, service excellence, staff satisfaction, and team collaboration. I have eight years’ experience in the nursing practice within a multi-disciplinary environment to include long-term, clinical, hospital, and home care. I specialize in all aspects of patient care, training and managing staff and creating programs to improve the office mechanics and workflow. I have also co-established a highly successful family private practice which provided many educational and professional opportunities.
My roles have required a very high level of organizational skills and flexibility, having the ability to meet deadlines through effective work practices and consistently achieving positive outcomes for my employer, colleagues, families and most of all, patients.
I enjoy being part of a team and working towards a common goal, and am a capable leader who has taken on the responsibility of training new staff. I have held progressively higher positions of responsibility leveraging my education which includes a degree in Nursing and Health Education from Lake Land College in 2013, where I also received the Marilyn Fuqua Thompson Excellence in Nursing Award.
